Current Vacancies

We are currently seeking Mental Health Panel Accredited members, Court of Protection Solicitors and paralegals to join our busy and dynamic practice.

Consultant Mental Health Panel Members

The right candidate will have a minimum of three years’ PQE or equivalent experience and hold Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Panel membership.

Strong advocacy skills and a steadfast commitment to client care are essential. The role also requires excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with attention to detail and  good organisational skills. 

A proactive and compassionate approach to legal practice is vital.

Consultant Court of Protection Solicitors / Chartered Legal Executives

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ PQE or equivalent experience in Health & Welfare Court of Protection work.

You should be capable of managing a caseload of Court of Protection files, including health and welfare disputes, appeals against Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and confident in undertaking advocacy when appropriate. Strong connections with Counsel for more complex cases are advantageous.

Experience in publicly funded matters, along with confidence in billing the same, is essential.

The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to client care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. A proactive and compassionate approach to legal practice is key.

Accredited Legal Representative (ALR) status is desirable but not mandatory.

Paralegals

The right candidate will:

  • Have a legal qualification, such as LPC, ILEX or qualifying via SQE
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be IT literate
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Be proactive in seeking to assist other members of the team
  • Have a full UK driving licence

Working hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with one hour for lunch.

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience.
